Redecisioned.

As Tim is entertaining Billy and Ally on Skype with "Baking with Tim," I decided to put a quick blurb of an update on here.

A little before Christmas several things happened that made us strongly reconsider going to Utah for school. We have been really torn ever since. We've never stopped thinking about it. We have made countless pro's and con's list, recalculated how staying in California versus going to Utah would cost, and talked about it every spare minute we could.

Honestly though, nothing that we came up with in any of that seemed to matter. We had to go back to how we felt. We are going to be staying in California. Heavenly Father seems to do this a lot; "You could do either way, really you could, but you really should do this. If you don't you'll be ok, but just trust me, as heart breaking as it is to do it this way, you'll be so surprised at all of the blessings you'll get out of doing it this way...even if it's difficult at first." Tim and I have learned even in the short time we've been together that if we get this prompting we really should follow it. We've had that prompting so many times and we have been very blessed.

So even though we are really sad about not being able to take this perfect opportunity to be close to family, we are really excited to see what is in store for us.

Also, on the plus side, when we live in Long Beach we'll be minutes from the ocean and about 20 minutes from Disneyland, Disneyland California Adventure, and Knotts Berry Farm. We are more than willing to let you all stay with us when you come out on much needed vacations! Maybe we'll even partay with you! But please not all at once!
