Timothy and I proudly introduce the newest members of our family, Pacino and Guster!
Guster, or Gus Gus for short, is on the left and Pacino, named such because of his white stripe, is on the right. They are Dumbo Eared Rats and only 5 weeks old. We bought them this past Friday. Since then we have been working on letting them get used to their new home and get used to us slowly. Just within a few days they are already to the point of rushing to the cage door when we walk in the room and even running out onto our hands when we open the cage. They are not yet to the point of climbing onto our shoulders by themselves, but they aren't so terrified when we do pick them up and put them there. In fact, Pacino is hanging out on mine as I type!
Here is there abode for now. We are going to need to get them a larger home soon, but for now it's doing fine!
This is Guster on Tim. Gus can't get enough exploring in! Gus Gus, as you may have guessed is larger than Pacino. He also eats the most and steals the most!
And here is Pacino. He is sitting very comfortably under my hair. They LOVE my hair! Both of them nestle under there when they get a chance. Pacino is a calmer guy, he's more content with hanging out and when Guster steals his food he makes very little struggle as if it's not worth the extra energy.If you can't tell, we love our new little guys! They brighten our days (and nights) because they are so inquisitive and loving.

Hey sweet blog! I love your little rats :) It was way fun going to the pet store with you guys, we'll have to do the zoo next (then see all the animals of the world!! ah hahahahaha!)jk.
